A delegation of eight teachers participated in this year’s trip to Germany. Those selected include Lois Delmore, Red River High School in Grand Forks; Beth Ekre, Carl Ben Eielson Middle School in Fargo; Kari Hall, Williston High School; Tim Holte, Rock Lake High School; Kristen Kuntz, Milnor Public School; Kevin Morast, Hettinger High School; Mark Reinig, Fairmount Public School; and Peder Stenslie, Mary Stark Elementary School in Mandan.
In conjunction with the teacher’s study trip, Atlantik-Brucke held a reception at their office in Berlin and invited North Dakota state representatives Ron Carlisle, Bismarck; Al Carlson, Fargo; and Bob Skarphol, Tioga. Dr. Gary Gronberg represented the Department of Public Instruction. The reception was hosted by Dr. Walther Kiep, Honorary Chairman and Chairman Emeritus, and Dr. Beate Lindemann, Executive Vice-Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors.
